Image Galleries vs Slideshows
Although I can set you up with just about any type of slideshow, content slider, carousel or image gallery that you might want, I don't normally recommend using them in the banner position on your home page. For an explanation please read What About Slideshows. There are plenty of options for the banner position that are more likely to encourage clickthroughs of your Call to Action.
Whereas I don't necessarily recommend slideshows in general, galleries or albums are a fine choice and I have a large selection that can be tailored to meet your needs.

WordPress Blog Spam, Comment Form, Security
If you maintain a blog , forum or another section where visitors are able to post comments then you are very likely already familiar with comment spam. With membership sites you may be tormented by fake registrants. WordPress blogs are notoriously known as spam magnets. Spammers and perhaps hackers are looking for any way possible to promote their message, a link to their product or service, or perhaps just plain cause havoc. Because there are so many implementations of Joomla, WordPress and similar the spammers have figured out how to write automated programs which can slide by your captcha-protected page and leave ugly residue for you to clean up.
Between hackers and spammers attempting to do their thing there is certainly the possiblity that your website's security is compromised and/or your website is defaced. If that is a concern then it may be time to upgrade its components including security extensions if the website is a CMS.

File System and Database Backups
Backups are a necessary and costly evil. They are your security blanket. Varous things can happen to websites leading to the need for restore a page, some data or even an entire website from backups.

Upon request we can create an auxiliary backup mechanism which can fill in gaps or simply make it easier to restore your data.
Technology
For development projects we use PHP, MySQL database, AJAX, JavaScript, bash shell scripting (UNIX and Linux) and CSS in coding. We also use a variety of open source applications including GIMP and ImageMagick for image manipulation needs. We work with CSS3, HTML5 and Media Queries in creating responsive web sites.
We focus on implementing solutions that utilize PHP, MySQL, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, CSS media queries and #!bash shell scripting. Image manipulation is accomplished almost exclusively with two open source programs which you probably have not heard about, GIMP and ImageMagick. The acronym, GIMP, stands for Gnu Image Manipulation Program. Open source means free. 
Besides being FREE and available for the three major operating systems, GIMP is lightweight and you can even download a portable version that can be accessed via a Flash drive. You can really take it with you. There are many examples/demos on this site which can be implemented and configured on most sites. ImageMagick is a command line application that can be run within shell scripts and via PHP. It can be used to do automated processing of images after they have been uploaded to a website.
